DISREGARDED PETITION FOR HST EXEMPTION
In 2018 there was a petition for the removal of HST. The Petition stated:
We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the House of Commons to remove the HST on psychotherapy as a piece of the overall effort to make mental health care as accessible as possible to the citizens of Canada. Please read the government response in the PDF below.
LETTERS TO BILL MORNEAU: FINANCE MINISTER
In both 2018 and 2019, the Ontario Association for Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists wrote a letter asking Finance Minister, Bill Morneau, to stop unjust tax on Psychotherapy services.
