Immigration information

There are several documents that international students need toÌýenter Canada toÌýstudyÌýand work here. Throughout your time at 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ, youÌýare responsible forÌýmaintainingÌýyour immigration status andÌýcomplying withÌýCanadian immigration regulations.

Required documents for studying in Canada

In addition to aÌýstudyÌýpermit, you may also need aÌýprovincialÌýattestationÌýletter (PAL) and/or an entry visa (including aÌýtemporaryÌýresidentÌývisa and/orÌýelectronicÌýtravelÌýauthorization).

Students who have been accepted directly into a program with a mandatory work-integrated learningÌýcomponentÌýwill also require aÌýco-opÌýworkÌýpermit.

The International Centre provides support services, resources, and immigration advising to international students on all our campuses, manages our exchange and study abroad programs, and acts as a social and cultural hub in Halifax.
