The 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Rams Badminton team came and conquered on Feb 21st to win the 2026 ACAA Badminton championship.  By defeating UNBSJ, MTA, UKC and USTA in a hard-fought tournament, the Rams secured a Badminton championship banner that eluded them for the past 39 years.Â
Joel Côté secured the victory with a thrilling win in Men's Singles vs Tony Su of MTA to take the final team tie 3-2, but it was far from just one athlete who made this championship possible.
Contributions from across the board allowed the Rams to edge out UNBSJ and UKC 3 matches to 2, and defeat USTA 5-0, giving the team a 4-0 record for the Championship. Notable athletes include Fiona Purdy-Hawkes, Mikel Côté, Kendra Ziebarth, Noah Willis, Caitlin McCavour and Nicole Carr; all of these athletes had and won important matches to help the team win their banner.
