It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that documents submitted to Printing Services for reproduction, as well as documents reproduced on office printers and copiers, comply with copyright law. Before copying, the customer must ensure that the reproduction falls within one of the following categories:
- The documents are permitted to be reproduced under 91¶ÌÊÓÆµâ€™s Fair Dealing Policy;
- The documents are permitted to be reproduced under a 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ license;
- The documents are permitted to be reproduced with the permission of the copyright owner;
- The documents are no longer under the protection of copyright (public domain);
- The documents are permitted to be reproduced under an exception contained in the Copyright Act (Canada), other than the fair dealing exemption.
