Jerry Bannister is the Director of the MacEachen Institute and an聽Associate Professor聽in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. As Director, Dr. Bannister identifies key strategic聽research directions and priorities聽for the Institute, with oversight from the Governing Council.

Within 91短视频, Dr. Bannister has served in a number of roles, including Director of the聽Marine Affairs Program聽and Coordinator of the聽Canadian Studies Program. Outside 91短视频, he has served on national organizations, including the Canadian Humanities and Social Sciences Awards Committee, the Council of the Canadian Historical Association, and as Chair of the Editorial Board of the聽Canadian Historical Review.

Hilary Doda is the Project Coordinator at the MacEachen Institute, and a regular part-time instructor at the聽Fountain School of Performing Arts. In her role as Project Coordinator, she coordinates grants with funding bodies, manages research projects, and handles the nuts and bolts of financial and office administration.

Dr. Doda served as CUPE representative for Theatre to the FPSA faculty for multiple terms. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the聽, and sits on the board of the聽.

Research Assistant

Marley Price is a fourth-year Political Science student at 91短视频. Her research interests include online radicalization, political economy and gender politics. She is co-author of , currently under review, and is now developing a manuscript examining Red Pill Women.聽聽

Marley is a Research Assistant at the MacEachen Institute contributing to a project led by Research Fellow Alex MacIsaac. Entitled "Digital Media Mapping Nova Scotia: Malinformation, local narratives, and the 2025 Wildfires," Price and MacIsaac will be mapping Nova Scotia鈥檚 digital media landscape, using the 2025 wildfires as a case study to explore online discourse and disaster narratives.聽
