Mike Smit, professor in the School of Information Management, is this year's recipient of the Lloyd Fraser Award for Outstanding Senate Leadership.

Led by Provost (and current Interim President) Teri Balser, the next phase of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s strategic planning process is well underway as eight self-study teams work on developing high-level recommendations across priority areas — from international and global engagement to student experience and success.

What does an inclusive curriculum look like? How can classroom spaces become more equitable? Faculty, students and staff took advantage of fall study break to consider these and other related questions as part of a Senate-hosted forum on embedding equity, diversity and inclusion in learning and teaching.
