Jocelyn Leblanc, Hockey
Women’s hockey player Jocelyn Leblanc scored five goals and collected two assists in the Tigers 8-1 win over the Mount Allison Mounties on Sunday. This was Ms. Leblanc’s first full game back after being out of the lineup with mononucleosis since December.
The third year kinesiology student is from Moncton, N.B.
Joe Schow, Basketball
Men’s basketball player Joe Schow led the Tigers to wins over the UPEI Panthers and UNB Varsity Reds over the weekend. In Saturday’s game, he collected 19 points and six rebounds versus the Panthers. Against the Varsity Reds on Sunday, he scored 20 points and had seven rebounds. Mr. Schow’s performance on the court helped the Tigers collect eight key points and move into third place in the AUS standings.
A fourth year forward from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Mr. Schow is taking Russian Studies.
