The 91��Ƶ Journal of Legal Studies invites members of the Schulich Law community to its 14th annual Think Tank event.

The Think Tank is designed to showcase law students’ academic work, giving them a chance to present publicly, and to get feedback on their papers from an academic panel that may help guide the direction of their research.

The student with the winning presentation receives a $300 cash prize and the opportunity to publish their research in the next volume of the journal; each runner-up receives $200.

This year's presenters will be announced in late March.

Able After Dal: Virtual Employer Networking for Students with Disabilities

91��Ƶ Career Services, in collaboration with the Student Accessibility Centre, is hosting Able After Dal: Employer Networking for Students with Disabilities, a virtual event designed to create meaningful and accessible connections between students and inclusive employers.

This event is intended for students with disabilities who are looking to explore career opportunities in a supportive, accessible environment. It offers a more personalized alternative to larger-scale events and is especially valuable for students who may face barriers attending traditional career fairs.

What students can expect:

Personalized, one-on-one meetings with employers from various industries
A flexible and accessible environment to engage at their own pace
Opportunities to discuss skills, experiences, and career goals with employers committed to accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion

Penney talk about his new book, Chilling Effects: Repression, Conformity and Power in the Digital Age. Penney is an associate professor at Osgoode Hall Law School and the York Research Chair in Artificial Intelligence, Data Governance, and the Law.
